A Matter of Abstraction, a traveling exhibition including works from the collection of the Musée d’art contemporain de Montreal, stops at Trois-Rivières. You will discover, among other paintings, a major work of Marcel Barbeau, Rétine virevoltante, 1966.
The Matter of Abstraction is a key works exhibition of the Museum of Contemporary Art Collection of Montreal which now constitute a national heritage of inestimable value. Bringing together thirty works of outstanding artists, the exhibition proposes to meet the creators and artistic movements that have defined the development of abstraction since 1940 in Quebec and Canada.
