A work of Marcel Barbeau will be presented in the exhibition and the publication Dialogues de l’œil, Regarde sur la collection permanente de la Ville de Gatineau.
«This collaborative project between Éditions Neige-galerie and the City of Gatineau will highlight the wealth of our city’s Permanent Collection. In a variety of literary styles and approaches, different authors will appropriate works from the Collection to create a new artistic and literary work. From canvas to page: a novel approach to art. Mining the Collection will reveal hidden gems from the Collection, reawakening works that were sleeping in our collective memory. An exhibition, a book, a subjective space to explore, to share and to take home.»
“Visitors are invited to bring headphones, their smart phones or their tablets to access the audio guide. Through URLs and QR codes embedded addresses to the exhibition and even inside the book, it will be possible to listen to formal presentations of works of art. “
