Marcel Barbeau at a major Palais de Tokyo event

After the MACBA of Barbcelone (2007), the Albright Knox of Buffaloo (2010), the Musée d’art moderne de la ville de Paris (2012) and Guggenheim of Bilbao (2013), the Palais de Tokyo acknowledge Marcel Barbeau’s contribution to the history of contemporary art, in the catalog of its summer event Nouvelles Vagues, dedicated to the performance and the interdisciplinary installation, of which Marcel Barbeau was one of pioneers at the beginning of the sixties. The artists and the events was selected by the curators of the Palace of Tokyo.

Marcel Barbeau want to thank to the help the CALQ and to the warm welcome of a Parisian friend, Marcel Barbeau was present at the opening of the exhibition.
