On May 31st of this year, Marcel Barbeau oversaw the last phase of the installation of his mural ” Les angles du regard ” at the École des métiers de la construction of Montreal. Having conceived it during the summer and during the autumn, 2011, the artist oversaw the realization during the winter and during the spring, 2012. For the conception of his project, the artist benefited from technical advices of the architect Georges Lagacé and Kim Landry, a student in architecture. As regards the technical production, Axis Peinture realized the spray painting according to Marcel Barbeau’s sketches and under its supervision, whereas the joiner Patrick Roy produced completely the panelling of pine where fit paintings and proceeded to their installation, once again, according to the directives and under the artist supervision.

Marcel Barbeau obtained this command of the school Committee of Montreal last December within the framework of the Program of integration of art in the architecture of the government of Quebec.
