Élysées Art Fait visitors at Galerie Chauvy stand looking atsome Marcel Barbeau’s art works.
On Thursday October 27, the 7th edition of Élysées Modern and contemporary Art Fair was opening in Paris. Joined to the Elysées design Fair and to YIA Art Fair, this event is mainly devoted to international modern and contemporary historical artists.
The Galerie Chauvy, who represents Marcel Barbeau in Paris since 2012, exposes at stand 105A some Barbeau’s paintings with some of his 1977 performance photos by Robert Etchevery besides works by Jean-René Bazaine, Georges Mathieu, Paul Jenkins, Raoul Ubac et Laroslav Serpan. According to his dealer, Marcel Barbeau’s works are well received by that art fair visitors and one of his painting was immediatly sold on the opening night.
The exhibition goes on until October 28 at 6 PM. The fair is taking place along the Champs Élysées, between Place Clemenceau and Place de la Concorde. A Barbeau one man show will follow art the Gallerie Chauvy from October 29.
