” Barbeau libre comme l’art ” began its European career in Paris last December within the framework of the XXIVth Festival international du film d’art et pédagogique. The movie of the film-maker Manon Barbeau about his father, the painter and the sculptor Marcel Barbeau, was presented to it at Home of the UNESCO in December 1st in the category ” Démarche d’artistes “. This last Manon Barbeau’s movie is a coproduction of Informaction-film and the National Film Board of Canada. It also appeared to the program of the FIFA of Montreal, where it was presented in world premiere on March 16th, 2000.
