Recent Aquisitions, Regional Museum of Rimouski

March 22 to June 1st

This temporary collective exhibition, simply entitled Recent Acquisitions, will include about fifteen works of ten artists from Quebec the contribution of which in the art history is of major importance – and it is true as much on the national stage as international. Produced between 1950 and 2006, these works were never presented in our walls, having been acquired for the greater part by the regional Museum of Rimouski during the last two years.

In this exhibition, the public can see two Marcel Barbeau’s works from the 50’s that are part of the Combustions Originielles series.
