After over more then 15 years of absence in the National Capital, Marcel Barbeau is back with a solo at Michel Guimont Gallery which now officially represents him in Quebec City area.

Taking place from 19 September to 11 October, the exhibition offers an overview of the artist’s creation from the 1950s to this day. The selection of works, which includes gestural paintings, tachiste, anaconstructions, as well as sculptures reveal Barbeau’s ability to keep on renewing its own approach through abstraction.

The artist plan to attend the opening on 20 September, from 13h to 17h, to meet the public.
